You can absolutely run that with no problem.

There's a few safety measures you should take, as with any shot size.

Remember nitrous doesn't blow up engines, people do.

Run a good window switch style unit. The NOS mini is a great controller.
Install a purge solenoid.
Don't run the pressure too high, keep it 900-975 psi. Always dial it in around this pressure and run it there so it stays consistent.
Don't get greedy with the timing. For a 150, start with pulling 7 degrees and work a little back in at a time.
LEARN HOW TO READ PLUGS. Not sure what fuel you are on, but if it is regular pump gas or 110, then get a plug cutter. If E85, then you don't need one.
100 and 150 are fine to pull fuel from the rail with, just make sure you have a good pump in the tank and watch fuel pressure.
Follow the jet chart for whoever's kit you are going to run.
Do not get hung up on AFR from a wideband. Let the plugs tell you what it likes.
If you do look at AFR for a reference, the AFR it runs on nitrous should be almost identical to what it is on motor. Remember, you are still tuning an NA engine.
You won't hurt the motor if there is enough timing pulled and the fueling is right. Too much fuel and get greedy with the timing, you will lift a ringland.

x2 to all of this, i ran a 150 on a stock ls1 with just timing pulled and different plugs for a long time just pulling fuel off the port on the rail

run just your fuel solenoid into an extra gas can under the hood somewhere and make a WOT pull "spraying" to make sure your fuel pressure or a/f isnt dropping before spraying the actual nitrous through the motor
