Hey Guys Well I Installed A Nos Nitrous System With The Purge Kit And I Have Dual Purge Coming Out The Side Vents Of My 2000 Ws6. I Have The Purge Run Through A 1/8" Copper Wire And I Have A 10 Lb. Bottle And Yesterday After I Got It Installed It Only Lasted For About 10 Purges And The Bottle Was Empty. Shouldn't I Be Getting More Purges Out Of A 10 Lb. Bottle?

First, why are you purging the system 10 times? Secondly, why do you capitalize every word? A 10lb. bottle is good for about 2.5 - 3 runs on a 150 shot. I would say that is about 10 purges...hahaaa. Stop wasting nitrous!

WELL JOHN, I JUST THEN INSTALLED IT AND WAS PURGING IT TO GET IT THE RIGHT ANGLE AND EVERY LETTER IS CAPITALIZED B/C MY COMPUTER STAYS ON CAPS LOCK AND WHEN IT GOES INTO THE FORUM IT CHANGES IT ALL. ALL I WANTED TO KNOW WAS IF IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING MORE PURGES OR WHAT, BUT THANKS JOHN.

I answered your question with an estimate of how long a 10lb. bottle lasts. Hey, here is a tip for you: if the purge line is pointing up, it will purge up in to the air. If it's pointed to the left, it will purge left into the air...and so on. Lighten up man.

 

Have you checked your system for leaks? How long are you purging for. It should be just long enough to clear out the lines. Are you sure the bottle was full?
