Nitrous Solenoids Question

Default Nitrous Solenoids Question

I've decided that I would aim for a wet kit on my T/A. However I noticed on most dry kits, they recommend having two nitrous solenoids, I'm assuming as a extra precaution if one failed.

Can I do the same on a wet kit? (newb to nitrous lol)

You could, but the real question is why? I have yet to see any big wet kit have more then one fuel or nitrous selinoid for a single stage system. I don't run any redundant seliniods on my nitrous system (and I have one of the biggest systems on an LS1 of anybody on here).

Save your money for more important things. Fuel pressure safety switch, RPM window switch, etc.

Cool. That was just the thing, I always saw two solenoids on Dry kits but was unsure safty wise on the wets. I do plan to get the WOT switch, fuel pressure safty switch and possibly a MSD Window switch. I was told I really don't need the window switch for an A4 but what the hell. My tranny probably would thank me later doing so instead of spraying through the shifts

10/4 on the window switch. that is good thinking. Technically you wont "need" it, but its all part of making a kit, into a system!
