H & C + 150 shot...exhaust popping under... I went to try out my nitrous system after I got my fuel solenoid back with some new parts. Here's the setup
10.7-80 on motor)
347cid
H & C
TNT F1 - 150 shot - No purge
Intank pump + KB BAP
When I get on the gas on the hose the exhaust "pops" very quickly. Is this detonation? Can Detonation cause a nitrous backfire?

That sounds EXACTLY like when I ran my 125 shot ( dry kit ) at 1400 psi by accident. I figure it was my computer pulling all possible timing and a bit of detonation thrown in there. Check your wet noids maybe or get it hooked up to a dyno with a wide band.

Sounds like a timing or fuel thing to me, also check the plugs, what are they looking like? black, white, holly? almost sounds like a fuel problem
