I believe you'd be quite pleased with our "R" cam. It's a 234/244 on a 115 w/ .598/.612 lift. It'll run great on motor, and even better on gas.

Both cams peak around 6300-6400. The S cam on our test vehicle gained power everywhere above 2500 rpm. Both cams have good area under the curve, but the R cam will be slightly better for larger shots of spray since it has the fairly large split.

Either one will be great for a 150 shot or less. 200+ I would go the R over the S.

The cam package is 925 which includes the cam, springs, titanium retainers, and chromemoly pushrods.

throw in a cam you think would best suit your driving style and performance preferences....if you dont like it, take it out and throw in a different one of your choice...after the initial tune, its only 50 bucks for a retune, and after you get the valvesprings swapped up, tossing in a different cam is nothing at all

Stock cubes and stock heads should do pretty well. Probably will be somewhere around 390-410 rwhp. Our S cam on a stock 98 motor made 422 rwhp.

Hey Chuck,

Is the "S" and "R", both nitrous ground camshafts, or are you just making a recommendation based on his setup?

The "R" cam is a nitrous cam. The "S" cam is an all motor cam, but could be used with nitrous since it is ground on a 115 lsa.
