How exactly do these secure to the TB? Would they work in a boosted application?

They have a slight press fit onto the tb. For a boosted application, you would probably want to use a small bead of silicone around the edge.

I have found that the fast tb Outside diameter's have been very inconsistant from piece to piece. Some are bigger than others. If it is to tight then you need to use a hand file and remove some of the lip on the TB.

The TB in question is way too small for the HPE ring.

I'm guessing the clear color is the regular aluminum color. When I order rack shelves that are regular aluminum color they are considered clear as well. Could be wrong about these though, so don't quote me.

There is two things that could be happening. One HPE is very smart and made them significantly different(I cant tell a difference but who am I) or Two TNT makes these as well. I want to know whats going on with this someone please chime in. I think its the Later if the two by the way Dave@TNT posted but either way they do look nice.
