Default Fuel Pump Question?
How much power can the stock pump in an 02 model push? Anyone tried pushing more than a 150 shot on the stock pump?

I'm sure that someone has, but why press your luck. Most people don't even like spraying a 150 shot on a stock pump.

with a cam and a 125 shot my fuel pump was not keeping up good enough. Upgrade to a Racetronix in tank kit and it should be plenty for you.

you can run it all day long on a 150 shot. but you run the risk of running lean and killing youe stock pump.......and running lean is really bad!!

so far my stock pump has held up to 513 rwhp @6200 on a 150 shot.afr was 12.0 from 3500-up.i have 27,000 miles on my car also.i have a rasetronix to go on it but am going to wait till i install heads.a fuel pressure gauge or fpss would be a good idea though.i know this is definitely pushing it but stock pumps are capable of more than people think.

Wide variation in support and no safety margin.
It's like playing with fire. Eventually you get burnt.

Pump, even a good complete one (racetronix) is under $400 (maybe less, not sure msrp)

new LS1, $4000+

I like the insurance of a pump/hotwire harness

I had heads/cam/100 shot with the stock pump, but the car runs better now that I have the racetronix kit installed.

Wow... for that price, why screw with anything else? I figured it would be more with the bucket.

I can't wait to install my 98 one.... as soon as i can get a front mount regulator

You have any pumps for 01 trucks?

I'm running stock pump and couldn't lean mine out on the spray no matter how lean of a jet I used. Between 10-10.5 AFR, was really pissing me off. Maybe I'm not getting the N2O flow I should be. Oh well.

We will have some systems this winter.
They will not fit all trucks though.
A list will be available at a later date.

Question...mods I have in the Sig plus and occasional 100 shot, with a Holley 155LPH fuel pump...still good?
