Default question about timing

I got a serious question about my tuning. I've got a nitrous cam and had it dyno tuned shortly after. Well now I've installed a NX wet kit and tr6 plugs. Will I need to get a timing controller or have some timing pulled to run a mild shot 150 or less? Or will the plugs and a 255 fuel pump be enough to accomidate the introduction of the nitrous without messing with the timing? Just curious because I could get the timing pulled in a tune, however I haven't picked up a window switch yet and it might be easier just to get a timing controller since it can do both functions. What would all of your takes be on this?

rule of thumb for nitrous timing, especially NX...3 deg per 100...get an ignition box like MSD 7 or (my favorite)Mallory HyFire VII-C...3-4 stages of retard, 3 rpm limits, multispark...get some MSD 8.8's and use the big ford 5" cap to reduce spark jump...but then i dont know what youre drivin & i dont even know what the hell a window switch is...mine works off a relay hooked to the t-brake

Thanks I'm running an fuel injected stock bottom end ls1. Just a little street setup no direct port multiple staged 300+ shots here. The window switch is just a control device to keep the nitrous from spraying between shifts of past the rev limiter. It sort of protects the transmission. For better ETs most people don't even waste their time but I'm on the stock 4l60e with a shift kit. My stall is relitively high and I figure there's enough stress on that tranny as is. You answered my question about the timing itself but it would be nice if someone could answer my question about whether or not to retune or go with a timing controller like this thing? http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=3&pcid=203 If I retune I suffer a loss of N/A power. Then again what if that controller is a flop then I suffer the loss of 200-300 bucks? Just wondering if that little wonder box can really control timing on demand and save me the trouble of constantly changing my computer back and forth?
