Check your P/V clearance when you preassemble the motor. These huge cams require a little extra machine work.

I will definatly do that, I gave Chris at AP all the specs of the cam, and the heads when I ordered the pistons, they also made them will a little more clearance because I am running aluminum rods, and they strech at high RPMs, but I also check and double check and usually tripple check

I will be sure of that she still has a little while left before she hits the track I am hoping for 5-6 months, its hard to find time to work on her when I am working 72 hours per week My goal for the car is 8.70's but who knows

I would dump the C-16 and look into the VP NOS fuel.

i run the sunoco 117 octain. it is an NOS supriem blend (thats what they call it)
i think it is a pretty good fuel, plus its what my local track sells

Thats what I do for a living, coat things, Coat with Plastic, Teflon, Powder Coat, and Engine Coatings
