For the Pistons, Rings, and Pins it was right at $1000.00

Better make sure they arnt for a street engine with a 68cc chamber these yeild a compression ratio of about 14.4 to 1

Nice Pistons. Look like mine but I have -7cc dish.. Gotta love Pump gas My Piston and Ring setup was about $1350 or so. I went with Wiseco instead of Diamond, mine are Gas Ported, Hell Fire Rings (custom top ring), etc..

Can't wait to hear your beast run man. We Texas boys need to get together after a Thunder for a battle of the 408s. Quiet a few of us around here apparently.

Looks good.

What steps have you taken to help make sure you can keep a headgasket in the motor?

Sweet. I want to build mine all over again after seeing a nice new piston. I went with standard 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. I ended up using some C&A rings though. Should have gotten the FM Hellfires, cause I'm starting to worry.

L-19 Headstuds
Oringed Block, Reciever Groove in head
Copper Gaskets
Afr Heads (Havent got these yet)

IF it still spits out the gasket I will just weld the head to the block
