Any such thing as a lay-flat N2O bottle?
prefer not to do the spare tire well. Besides which my well
seems to be smaller than the coupes. I have a convertible
and the trunk has sort of a sump area then widens out;
a false floor and replacement carpet, is what I'm thinking.
But there's not much height. Everything I see about bottle
mounting says the valve has to be up and forward (so the
siphon tube will stay wet I guess).
Can you pull the valve and bend the siphon tube so it is
against the cylinder wall, and run with the bottle laid flat?
Or is that impossible / stupid / unsafe (the siphon tube
work)? I could stand going dry a little early, if I could
get say 75% utilization that would be fine.
Also intriguing is the idea of something like 4 little 5-lb
bottles, two under each rear scoop-seat, like a series-
liquid-push arrangement. But that would be a lot of
money in custom push-fitted bottles I reckon.
Just not much room in the 'vert.
