First let me describe my current N20 set up and then my future plans and then please let me know which N20 progressive controller would be best for me. I am currently using an NX Gemini Twin MAF set up with 4 solenoids jetted to 150 on each side. This system produces right at 250RWHP. I have it set up where I can run a single stage 150 shot off of 1 side or I can run a dual stage 300 shot simply by using the button on the shifter to engage the 2nd stage or I can run a 300 shot single stage using both sides. My car makes 723RWHP and 670RWTQ on the dual stage. Last weekend we went out and ran a 5.991@116.1 on a 1.32 60ft with the bottle pressure at 850PSI. I know I can get more out of it by raising the bottle pressure but my car is already pullin the wheels 3' in the air and I don't want to drag the bumper or lose my 60ft time so I think a progressive controller is the way to go. My future plans for my N20 set up are to go with a dual stage direct port set up with a dedicated low pressure fuel system for it which will allow me run way more bottle. Again I run into the issue of losing a great 60ft so either way I think a controller is the solution to my problems. Which 1 do you reccomend and why? Sorry this is so long but I now I needed to explain it in detail. TIA

The NX maxmizer is pretty cool. You program it with software, and it keeps track of what gear you're in (by watching the tach drop), so you can program different progressive curves for each gear.
IE: in first gear you could use it to put down as much power as the tires would allow, then in 2nd you could turn the power up.

The Maximizer is the most advanced controller on the market. It has the following features.
1.Time Delay
2.Ramp Speed
3.Built in TPS
4.Built in Window Switch
5.Monitures 02s For lean conditions
6.can easily be adjusted with palm pilot or lab top.
7.Measures embetween shift points. You can set it to start over or start where you left off.
Thats all I can think of at this time. This system sells for 640.00.

Thanks Dave, I'm not sure I can use the Maximizer though. I don't need a window switch, I already have 1. I don't have O2 sensors either I'm running an open loop tune.

If you are goin to do the progressive route, then you wouldn't need a 2 stage direct port setup, just a single. You just dial it in to put as much power to the tires that it can take at that time. Also getting the single would also let you save the couple extra bucks it would cost to buy the controller.

Stay FAR FAR away from NOS's Time Based Progressive controller (the $320 one)
Mine fried after about 10 uses. Unfortunately it was the following spring before I found that it didn't work anymore, so it was beyond their warranty date. Now I have a $320 paperweight!
If you're gonna do it, do it right, get the maximizer.
