Default Halo kit install pics

I've run Nitro Dave's "halo" kit a few times at the track now, and finally got around to taking some pics. I really like the kit. I started out with the small jet 0.031 & a small window on the rpm switch 3500-5500, but I've gradually increased it (I'm kind of **** about safety) and now I'm using a .052 jet that I bought (biggest in the kit was a 0.044) & I'm into the low 12's. So far, so good.

I am concerned about a "lean spike" that I'm getting. O2's drop down sometimes below 100 when the nitrous first comes on. I assume that can be tuned out with something like ls1edit or hptuners? If this were a carburetor, I'd want a bigger cam for the accel pump.

Here's the link.

The mph looks low. Why are you running a water injection kit?

The install is very simple.Use the same instructions that were in the box for a wet system. The only difference is you are not wiring up a fuel side.If you have any questions let me know.We need to work on some better instructions for that system.

mph for my car are always low. I hardly ever see anyone with the same et running such low mph. Maybe it's my 2.73 gear. I'm also running a tci ssf3500.

I'm running water injection to keep the cyl clean of carbon & help a little on knock. It's a home-brew kit that I made out of a washer pump and NOS fan nozzle.

Dave, what can I do about the lean spike?

Thanks. Yeah, still have stock cam, stock heads, stock intake, stock maf, stock manifolds - everything from intake manifold to exaust manifold, all stock.
If I had more money I could go faster...

2000 z28 a4 2.73 gears
Mods:

Fernoco, ghetto cold air, magnaflow catback, bmr sfc, rear end girdle, drag radials, accusump, homebrew water inj, tr6 plugs, tci ssf3500 w/ b&m trans cooler - that's all I can think of right now. Oh, and nitrous now too

Well, on the last run of the night, o2's went below 100mV for over 1/2 second when the nitrous hit. It only happens off the line. When the window switch kicks it off & back on again after the tranny shifts, it doesn't do it. The MAF is descreened, if that matters, but it did it before too. And I don't think I'm freezing anything, because the intake air temps go down from 100deg or so to 70 or so by the end of the run. And I never see a spike with the nitrous off.

TTT
Can I do anything about this lean spike, short of converting to a wet kit?
