Default spray on a 70,000 mile motor???

ok, i have a 2001 ls1 t/a with 70,000 mile on the clock (i know, i know, lots of miles blah blah blah) but they are 70-75% highway miles, and the oil has been changed every 3000 or less miles since i bought it (13,000 when i got it). and i am gonna have a 231/237 cam in it by the end of january. i know i will be ok with the cam, but if i wanted to man up and get a kit, would i have to seriously be careful and not go over a 100 shot or lower? what do you guys recommend i do to keep my motor from giving out if i spray it, which wont be that often, only when i car starts pulling me will i use the n2o, so any help is appreciated. thanks.

Kyle

I have 70k on my 2001 5.3 and spray 180-190 without a problem and just got my best ET over the weekend. I say go for it.

We just sprayed my brothers 99,000 mile trans am to a 11.4 pass this weekend with no problems. The car has X1 cam and a 120 shot of spray. We are at 5500 DA also which sucks.

Kyle...Spray it.

You'll be fine, if you want to be extra safe, just don't go over a 125. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WINDOW SWITCH!!!

Yeah, that's me...I've been staying away from all the bs for a while...

Just working, saving money. Just bought a house, saving for a vette

Got a good serving job on the strip, so now my net is like 65-70k. I'll probably wind up going to Wynn Las Vegas, and that should be even better so I'll have a little extra cash to **** around with.

Like I said, you'll be fine spraying it, just don't go crazy, run the right fuel, ask people like rob and davis a lot of questions, and make sure you have a window switch and you'll be fine.

Glad to see you're making friends in lvf, good people in there, but i usually have to work on sundays so i haven't been to a meeting in like 2 years.

Later,

Dave
