Default keyed/ignition source

I am going to install a bottle warmer soon, and I would like to tap off a fuse that is only activated when the key/ignition is on for my switch.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

Tap into a wire off the back of the radio harness. There is a keyed wire in there, I believe it is pink. Just key up the car and use a voltmeter to find it. Pretty easy.

Run that to your switch and then to a relay. Use a power wire from the battery (not a fused source) to the relay and then to the bottle warmer. It will draw more current then the fused ignition sources will allow.

If it's a GM , pink wire on your ignition harness going to the switch in the steering column.

there is a keyed ignition acc. terminal on the fuse box thats what i used for mine. but the heater drew to many amps and it kept popin fuses so i ran a direct wire from the battire.
