What you guys dont relize is that steve was a volkswagon guy before he was a mustang guy.So he loves the car.Its funny seeing a bald headed gear head cruse a yellow bug though.LOL
This guy goes back and forth from building a mustang up and selling it to going full blown into building a bug and then back to a mustang.Everytime he builds a new project the locals start betting on how long until he sells it.Ive given up counting.LOL

Jegs sells that one for around 75.00.Im afraid if I race in an event that does not allow poping the hood I may not have enough fuel.
Dave
Is it a 1/2 gallon? I use the Jaz 1 gallon and you had to cut a good amount out to fit it.

Whoa, You did say 4200 on the phone. I thought I didn't hear right and thought you said 6200. That's downright insane! You drove this around town?

How much capacity are you looking for? I'll have an LT1 car in the shop in Jan. I am going to start fabbing the tanks I was telling you about and getting the kits ready.

Let me know what you need I'll get one worked up for you.

Shouldve seen peoples faces when this thing would get completely sideways at 120-140mph

Myself and a friend of mine would be interested in a couple of these if the price is reasonable.

How fast is that car, Dave? It hasn't looked very fast lately! Your pipes sure are pretty, as Cameroholic would say.

Why did you go with a 700R4 with a transbrake instead of a TH350/TH400?

When I started this car 2 years ago all it needed was a tranny rebuild. For some reason I decided to build a stroker motor.I figured since I was pulling the tranny why not go ahead and do the motor to.since the motor is out why not go ahead and strip it down and change colors.Since all the suspension is free why not...You get the idea. Well the 700R4 was because I was going to build a mild street car with ac and overdrive at first. Then I got carried away.I already had the tranny built. Then I decided there was no way it would hold what I was doing.John Goebel is one of the sponcers behind the car.He and I decided we would keep pulling this sucker out and putting it back in until we have found away to make it survive.I think this time may be the ticket. Its an experamental set up.In the long wrong with as much juice as im going to spray I do not expect it to hold up.But in an average heads cam and 150 shot I think he is there.Only long time will tell.
We will see how long it takes the abuse this racing season.
Dave
