Wink RPM BASE Progessive You ask it here!!!! AND its free!!!

Ok I had several people ask me about RPM base. I called its possible. In roughly 14 (or earlier) days you should be able to go to http://www.fjoracing.com/index2.htm and down load the verison for free. You will need to download the firmware and software.

What this will do is allow you to have time or rpm based progessive system. Heres the catch and the down fall to rpm base. If your tires start to spin you rpm will go up and therefore your nitrous power will go up. Compounding the tire spin problem.
You can set each gear its own start and finish rpm. exp.
1 gear = 20% at 2000rpm and 100% at 5000 rpm.
2 gear = 40% at 3000rpm and 100% at 4000rpm.
3 gear = 100% at 3000rpm and 100% at 3000rpm.

The gear choice is senced by the rpm drop of the enigne in gear shifts. So if you arm the system and use it in 3 gear the Maximizer will think is first gear.

So you asked for it and NX delivered. there it is Freebee, no charge, nothing but a bit of time. If you do not like the rpm base just toggle the unit back to time base. There is a timeout fiture in the units that would allow you to set a very simple or week curve, this is in the event you forget to reset the Maxmizer to the start program so you do not blow the tires off because you forgot to turn off or un arm the unit..

This is why I think the Maximizer is the best controller on the planet, upgradeable at no charge. More updates to come.

Ricky

Cool, allthough I doubt I will use it. i will be looking for more updates.

You know what i would like to see, is a fuel noid offset. So If I am a tad rich I can lets say go from 23-70% on the fuel and 25-75 on the n20 and vise versa.

This would definitely solve my high 9/low 10 AFR problem.

Hell, I'd even pay for an add on module that was tranny specific if they came up with one.

SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dayum...thats awesome!!!!!!
I am selling a few things I had to set up my kit and WILL be purchasing this item. This is the best of all worlds. You can do some RPM based stuff for rolling around in certain situatuions...and then go to time based for the track.

Actually...I have a T56 AND a TH400. I will be using the rpm based for the T56 and the time based for the TH400. And anything I can think of in between. Thanks alot Ricky...you are the man

I will have to see if we can set the thing up for tranny input. Vehicle specific.. Not sure but is there a wire one wire that tells the ecu what gear its in. If so it might be easier then previously thought. The unit itself has many open ports. We left them open just for growing pains. It might be possible.

another thing that would be nice is other than FJO wideband integration so those of us that don't have a FJO wideband setup won't have to use narrowband for the lean cutoff feature.

Well NXricky, I have brought you a gift. According to my ASTG Book for a 4l60E the ecm watches for power on three wires controlled via pressure switches in the transmission to tell what gears the transmission is in. So all you have to do for a tranny input on the 4l60e is watch for 12V's switching between three wires. Below are the scans of the ATSG 4l60E book on the pressure switch section along with wire colors and pin locations on the tranny connector.

First colum - terminal (not used)
second colum - wire color
third colum - pin location
