NX MAF + Tuning

I've been doing alot of searching and I found that people are/were having trouble with tuning different types of MAF(SLP, Granitelli, etc.) I have to buy a MAF and going to put nitrous on my truck and I was wondering if anybody was having problems tuning the NX MAF? or what are your experiences with tuning the NX MAF?

Right now the NX maf kit replaces the inlet and outlet parts of a 3 peice maf. Take a look at the trucks maf and see if it is a one piece design. If so you would have to send in the maf unit for a little overhauling.

Well this is for a hybrid conversion so I have to buy some type of MAF. I'm confused does the NX MAF replace the stock MAF or does it add on?

It isnt a replacement MAF sensor. It only replaces the housing on the up and down stream sides of the MAF sensor. It is called a MAF kit because it replaces the housing NOT the sensor.

If you look at a stock Fbody MAF sensor you can take it apart into three pieces.

Piece 1- Upper housing- all this does is bolt to the MAF sensor and the TB.
Piece 2- Lower housing- all this does is bolt to the MAF sensor and the bellows leading to the filter
Piece 3- MAF sensor

The NX MAF kit replaces pieces 1 and 2 and retains the stock MAF sensor so there are ZERO tuning issues as found with aftermarket MAF sensors.
