I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 1 solenoid but a wet system uses 2 soleniods(1 N20 and 1 fuel) placed before the MAF.

I think he might be talking about a dry kit. The only reason for 2 N2O noids inline on a dry set up is to have the second one as a fall back if one gets hung open. Not sure about the vacume part though.

Maybe he wants a wet dry comparison?

No offense, but it sounds like some studying needs to be done.

what i meant was, my friend has a 2000 mustang with nos. he has 2 n2o noids with a little blue thing in between that goes hook up to his vacuum line that goes hook up to the fuel regul. so that when he sprays it put more gas. i just realize i cant do it that way.

Ta boy,
The mustang and LT1 Dry systems work differently. Those are vacumme operated that FMU adds fuel pressure through the regulater.Pushing the extra needed fuel through the injectors. On the LS1 you just spray before the maf anf the mass air meter picks up the change and tells the computer to add extra needed fuel.Nos still has two solenoids on there LS1 dry system but it is not needed. Its packaged that way so the kit looks more complete.(just my openion). Check out our LS1 dry halo Kit.

No, I think it is because your 16, don't know that much about cars but would like to learn. You call it NOS because all of your idiot friends call it that since watching the F&F movie. You also did not know that Holley bought N.O.S. and that nitrous oxide is not called NAWS until coming to this thread. Just do some research with the search button, and also listen to NitroDave for advice, and do not EVER listen to your idiot friends about nitrous, it will not work out well.

No matter how old you are listen to what SDB says.....did you miss what it said under is screen name? 10 sec club pretty much means he knows what he is talking about.

You can find out everything you need to know on the board you just need to take the time to learn a little.

Not knocking anyone or saying anyone doesn't know what they're talking about, but this statement is not necessarily true. Anyone can put a high power engine in a car and go 10's, it's not rocket science. It's how long you've been in the game that makes you knowledgeable. I happen to know of a complete dumb *** in the 10 second club.

I do however respect what SDB says and tend to listen to him.

Thanks,

Not trying to be too hard on the originatr of this post, but it came across like a 16 year old talking about NAWWSS. I know a little about nitrous, have used it for about 10 years on a Lingenfelter vette and a MTI Camaro. I have installed several systems, and tried various things, had my car on a chassis dyno several times, and have been street racing since 1990. All this and I still ask questions on this board and of Nitro Dave.

If you have a nitrous question then ask Nitro Dave, he is the most knowledgable one here and has the goodies to buy as well.

I just watched To Fast and Too Furious for the first time tonight...and I thought nothing was dumber than the original! I was wrong. Please don't talk about NOS and stupid things your firends say....just investigate, decide, and then run hard.

SDB

NOS IT UP BRO~!!!!!

I'm gonna get my Vtec and go NOS it crazy till the cops chase me and I rob trailers off the freeway.

Yes, it does sound stupid. I hate going to the car races and trying to negotiate races with 16 year old invincible, rice patty head having, Vtec sporting, Nos smuggling punks. But hey it pays the bills.
