Default opinions on how much of a shot i can run.

I got a 2000 Z-28 with some manley rods and diamond pistons, the crank is still stock and the cam is a TR224/224-114 nitrous cam.
how big a shot is reasonable for a daily driver?
I dont want to have to break down the block ever.
Also what as far as safety would i need to run that much nitrous?

With a good tune a 200+ shot is doable. I have friends that are spraying that much on a stock bottom end. Make sure the rest of the car is up to it. A fuel pressure safety switch and a window switch would be a good place to start safety wise. Shoot me a pm if I can help you out.

We bought a NX 150 wet kit from Dave that is working great. We use:

*28 lb injectors
*Walbro 255 fuel pump
*fuel pressure gauge (on the driver's pillar)
*NOS bottle heater and NOS pressure gauge
*separate NOS arming and bottle heater switches
*MSD 3200-6000 rpm window switch (w/6000 rpm pill)
*fuel pressure safety switch
*NGK TR6IX plugs @ .038

It depends what fuel system you have. Do you have a fuel pump if you are running a wet kit?? How about injectors on a dry shot?? LOTS of variables.

tru but i was kinda wondering the same thing myself... thinking of upgrading the pistons rods, and tntf1 to a f2 kit.... guess ill have to stick a cam in it as well or it will be pointless to spray 200.. but i imagine itd be a nice kick in the pants.
