supercharge w/ nitrous? would u put nitrous (200 shot?) on a car that has already been supercharged?
this might sound sort of stupid, but its a question that is kinda confusing me.
also wouldn't that make the car insanely fast if that was the setup????
walk me through it guys...

I ran my 2001 SS LS1 with Vortech SQ trim w/8 lbs boost, Venom 2000 - 100 dry shot, heads, cam, headers, A4, 3800 converter and gears, and it ran low 10s in Vegas with no problems. Wish I had it back in that condition.
that is a very large nitrous shot and will have negative implications on the tunnig - in terms of simplicity. sure it can be done, i am doing it. others have done it but 200, damn. why not just turn the boost harder or go to a bigger blower?
I run 15lbs of boost and two stages that ad up to a 300 shot. Tuning is pretty much straight forward. I like the set-up, it offers a ral nice daily driver that is fast without nitrous, then a killer with the bottle.
I run 16#'s of boost and will be spraying with a 175 shot, which will eventually be a a 200+ shot. Right now I'm only running an 125 shot.
gatorsta, there are a couple reasons. Blowers get maxed out obviously, hence why you probably said a bigger blower. That's not a problem, except it costs money and will eventually get maxed out also. It's much easier to just change jets

What I forgot to mention was I pushed my crank through all of the main caps last fall. 
What a mess... pieces shot through the oil pan, and I was at the track, so they had to shut down for a few and clean-up.
So, new motor with splayed billet caps is being built right now.
Should be fun this year!

How fast are some of you guys going with boost and blowers? If you dont cam it right I can see it being a huge waste of time and eventually waste of motor.

Oh yea, this is an LS1 sight.
I believe dirtyZ has a blown/sprayed Z28, I wonder what cam he has? 10.2 @ 134 with a 1.6 60ft so far. Its in is 3800 lb 79 Camaro with me in it. The cam I had in it at the time was pretty much a stock cam, only .480 lift.

Is it true that nitrous on top of FI actually has a bigger increase in performance due to the cooling effect?
I was planning on perhaps putting a 30 shot on my turbo'd car expecting maybe 40-50 hp and 50+ lbs of torque....but 200!
