It does not have a pressure gauge and I would like to get $140 shipped for it. It's never been filled or mounted, hence the "brand new". They sell for $230 on TNT's site. PM me if you'd like.

i know this won't be the answer you're looking for but you really shouldnt have to strip it. i just wetsanded the hell out of mine with 220 and then 400 grit and laid the primer right down over the yellow.

it didnt come out perfect because i only sprayed on 3 coats of clear but it came out MUCH nicer than the original job.

Yeah, I just sanded the hell out of it with a 1500 grit sandpaper, then I used a sandable spray primer in white (since I was painting the bottle yellow). I sanded the primer down to make it smooth, then I began laying the yellow paint. I put a lot of coats on then when it dried I put my logo on and then a few coats of clear over the logo. I am really happy with how my bottle turned out. The yellow paint matched my car perfectly!

Oh one more thing what type of clear coat are you using? Is it in a can? I used that khameleon color kit from Duplicolor but the clear coat stinks, provides no protection at all.

I actually had the paint mixed up to match my millenium yellow and the clear is the dupont clear coat that goes along with the paint for my car. For a pic of my bottle click on my link to my cardomain page in the post above.

i used plain old dupli-color clearcoat too. it's VERY thin so you have to layer what seems like gallons of it on to get an effect....i quit after 3 coats. it doesn't look as shiny as the outside of the car but it does look damn good and it's just a nitrous bottle anyway.

aircraft paint stripper, can be bought at discount or autozone. i did this on my bottle and the paint literally melts off.

i just used 400-1500 grit sandpaper to polish it a bit.

between the back seats (still making up some metal bands to mount the brackets to.)

i ordered some cold fusion bottle brackets because they're already powdercoated silver so they'll match the decal perfectly.

I never had any problems at the track with mine being painted. Only problem I've had is the nitrous line rubbing against the bottle and had to repaint it. You dont even have to sand the bottle that much. Just alittle sanding, primer an paint.

nice job on the yellow bottle!
