Default Painting my bottle

I am planning on painting my Nitrous bottle to match my car since I race it and show it. Does anyone know if I will have problems either teching in at the track or filling the bottle if I remove the tank sticker? I have emailed TNT twice now to see about purchasing extra stickers but they must be too busy to answer a simple email. Has anyone had any experience with this? Or know how I can get a new tank sticker?

The track inspectors don't care about the sticker, its the DOT number that's stamped into the bottle that counts. That's what they will be looking for. Get to painting bubba and don't worry about the sticker.

Are you going to post up pics after you paint it? I'm thinking about stripping the 15lb bottle from my NOS kit and test out some airbrushing techniques on it

No... but now I know it is a closer race than once thought!

Definately want to get a nitrous versus Nitrous run going between the two of us.

The cars are virtualy the same (unless there are other mods you are not talking about).

Let me check your sig first before I go and say that. lol

well you have dry I have wet.
You have PanHard rod.. a few other suspension mods... basically a higher stall. I have a 3600 but tight.. you have a 3800 but loose.
Also a built tranny alittle bigger gears.. I think If I jet for a 75 shot it should be a close run.

Hell I might jet for a 150 and with the way I drive.. it STILL WOULD be a close run. lol

<--- Driver mod needed these days.. Havent had alot of track time THIS year (2004 i mean ).

when i get my nitrous stuff in order (need to replace timing tuner and do a couple other odds and ends), i'm definitely up for a spray to spray run. i'm jetted for 100, nothing special. you've got a major league tire advantage as im still on radials so who knows. I'm real close to ordering a set of front HALs though, so maybe i can even up the score off the line. I'll be at the track this year, keep me posted from time to time when you're headed out there.

I have a brand new TNT bottle FS if you would like a spare one for the track. That way you don't scratch your new paint. You could use the painted one strictly for show.

Mike.. I am about to order hals all around myself.. Just trying to sell the wife on the idea.

LOL

Bro... Nittos hooked AWESOME for me and I see people cut 1.5's all day long on DR's so the tire comparison is not as bad as you think... PLUS I under power the ET Streets without the nitrous.. I feel the bog to be honest.. and yes folks.. thats on an Automatic with a 3600 TC

yea...the nittos work pretty well for me as my 60 foot dictates. im sure i won't be able to spray till at least LATE in 1st gear on em though.

no matter, come spring we'll run em and see how it goes.

I actually have a second bottle already, but how much are you asking for the bottle? Also, is it one with a pressure gauge on it or without?
