Default Retarding timing w/o ignition box?

Is there any way I can retard some timing on my lt1 without going to a complete ignition box? I really do not want an ignition box like a 6al but rather do something simpler. I just need to retard 4 or 5 degrees. Thanks!

I am running a TNT wet kit. My maf is totally stock, unported. Maybe lt1 edit is a good way to go for me.

Im not sure if they make them for LT1's, because i dont know much about LT1's. But get a timing tuner. You can set it to retard your timing while using a big shot and back to normal with a smaller shot. It also acts as a window switch for turning on and off the nitrous. Check into it. But like i said, not sure if you can get one for an LT1. Yeah, i just looked it up and i know thunder racing has one for LS1's. You should give them a call and ask about one for abn LT1. Good luck.
