Default Those of you running dry kits...

Specifically with the single nitrous line injecting the nitrous in the neck of the lid right in front of the MAFS. What is your a/f with and without the nitrous? Basically I am wondering of the car is running lean on spray having the nossle that close to the MAFS.

around 10.5 with, and 11.5 without approximately.
Did you already take your screens out?

How big of a shot?
and what leads you to think it's lean? symptoms?

I know my car is lean...I have dyno'd it many many times. No screen on the MAFS. It is lean on any shot, but I normally run a 110 shot. My car has 113k nitrous fed miles on it so obviously I am not too worried about it but I would like to richen it up since I am redoing my kit currently. I run 12.8 a/f on motor, 14.0 a/f on spray no matter how big or small of a shot I run. I have ls1edit, and it has been tuned. Only mods are headers, true duals, lid....car has run this lean from day one, and still runs strong as hell with no issues what so ever. I would just like to try and richen it up a bit without messing up my motor tune. Right now I have a single nossle going into the side of my air box.

lol...thats what everybody says. Like i said 113k miles and I go through TONS of nitrous. I spray my car just for the fun of it on the way to work, and on lunch breaks. My car has never had 1 problem, and still runs as strong as the day I bought it.

Try spraying the MAF directly and see what the WB says.

add about 10% to your PE vs RPM table

First if all get a hold of a Tech 2 or autotap. You need to log a WOT run on the motor and read the frequency of the MAF sensor......go into the MAF table in LS1 edit and add 10% everywhere above the readings of the MAF on the motor. This will keep the A/F at 12.8 on motor, but when the MAF reads the higher load due to the dry kit it will add 10% more fuel through the injectors.....

Might want to check your fuel pressure just to be sure that the pump isn't getting weak.....

may want to check the duty cycle on your injectors also.

It's not the injectors...I can spray a 10 shot, or 150 shot...the a/f is still the same.

Move the Nozzle away form the MAF its to close.

I spray mine thru the filter works great.

I think you may be freezing the MAF hitting it that close the N20 is still in liquid form and REAL cold

I suggest tapping the nozzle directly into the center of your intake manifold for better nitrous distribution

I never said I was injecting it there...I want to know from the people that are injecting it there what their A/F is. Mine is off on the side of the box like it should be but my car runs lean that way. I have heard putting it in front of the MAFS will richen it up.

Well moving the nossle into my intake neck brought down my a/f to 12.3 on spray! I am very happy!

Very odd indeed.

white2001s10- what kind of sick setup are you running that needs an 11.5 on motor? Sounds like it must be pretty killer to me.

Ghost-check pm's.
