Default ZEX kit

I did a search and saw that everyone didn't like it but no one really had a good reason except the fact that it wasn't NX or TNT. The kit seems simple and safe. It maintanes a constant A/F because it monitors the nitrous to fuel output. Isn't this a good thing when the bottle get's too low or the pressure is down?

I think the main thing with that kit is the fact that you dont have controll over how the zex adjusts. A lot of people dont like to rely on that little box at the risk of their motor.

Anybody have the zex kit here, that would like to input on this.

Check back with me in about a week. I got a Zex kit with all the goodies brand new for pretty cheap. It's getting installed with a new cam.

I have one. its great for what it is. installed quick and easy, very clean. You can only go up to a 125 shot with the jets they send, and everything is taken care of in the computer. i put about 15 bottles through it last season. the first two control boxes i had had problems.. ie: they wouldnt turn on. they replaced them quickly and free of charge. this one is a year and a half old and works great.

You'll notice the 125 shot gained me about 13-14 mph on street tires. havent had it dynoed to tell exactly the hp numbers gain. As for the fuel scaling, i think it works for the most part, but at low bottle pressures the car still seems to run rich...

Very consistant, very easy to install.
Cant replace just solenoids to up the shot.

every kit has pros and cons.

They offer two kits a dry and a wet.
The dry kit will adjust fuel pressure to the injectors by verying bottle pressure. You cut and split the vaccumm hose going to the regulator and plug the two halves on to the purple box.And since there is no adjustable regulator on most LS1 cars no adjusting via bottle pressure.

The dry kit would be shot in before the maf and the stock computer will do the tuning.

The wet kit I really do not believe it adjust for verying bottle pressure.I could be wrong though.
The wet kit injects after the maf.
