Question Gauge and Filter Install Question. Pics...

Note...I am a newbie to Nitrous.

Is the way I have it pictured ok? Should I use any teflon tape on the fittings?

Thanks,

Jason

The fittings are -AN fittings and do not require tape. The filter install looks fine, but I would have put the gauge at the bottle instead of the filter.

Why don't more people have Proflow filters?

Well pics look fine but why not mount it on the bottle, why have the small line then the filter?

Never, and may I stress NEVER use teflon tape when plumbing nitrous. Red lock tite on the pipe fittings and dry on the -AN fittings.

I agree, no tape, unless you want junk running through your system.

Do I cover all the threads when using lock tite? Or just a couple towards the bottom of the fitting? Basically, do I need to make sure the fitting is covered with lock tite?

Thanks,

Jason

to little is better than to much. just a drop on the threads and it will flow to the rest when you tighten it up.
