Default Two Stage DRY questions....

Does anyone in here run a two stage DRY (dry only) setup???

If so, what feed line size are you using if only running one main feed, what size if you are running two main feed lines off the bottle, do you spray big hit than smaller hit, small hit off the line than big hit, or two equal size hits??? I don't have an LS1, but you guys surely have a LOT more experience with two stage setups than 03/04 cobra world (I can't find anyone running a progressive unit or two stage, not too mention very few are running big shots ).

Thanks, any input on two stage nitrous systems would be appreciated.

It would depend on what size your pills are... and what size your lines are. You should be fine with one feed line. I would also think you would want the big hit down low and a smaller hit once the boost comes up.

I know nitrous is going to take advantage of low end torque, but what if traction is a main problem, would it be better to use a smaller shot out of the hole, and then use the larger shot, around 40-50mph? Lets say where talking street use, not track.

I have heard of 2 stage dry set ups before but I have also heard that it some times can cause considerable nitrous puddling. With that 03 Cobra the blower makes good off the line boost all the way to 7K personally I'd just get a 50 horse dry kit or wet kit to cool the intake charge. On a blown car like that the 50 could be worth more around 100 anyways (colder air= more efficent fuel/air charge)

I believe the 4an line will only supply around a 260 rwh shot
look up some of 383lq4ss's posts he has run multiple dry shots

I like the small first stage and larger second at higher rpm, the reason being, the launch. I am currently changing over to dry/wet with first gear lock out and first stage (75hp) coming on at about 3200rpm in 2nd and stage two coming online at about 4500 or more also in second. My goal is to dead hook without blowing launch/trans/rear with well over 500 torque on juice. Got to minimize that torque spike if I am going to get traction, cause I can't fit funny car slicks under the Z06.
