cutting back the ground strap on tr6's. has anyone tried cutting back the ground strap on a set of tr6 plugs to see if they work any better. was just wondering.

Can you explain why you would want to do this?
I thought the reasons for using colder plugs were: 1) colder temp reduces chances of detonation; and 2) smaller gap reduces chances of spark blowing out due to higher cylinder pressure. If you cut the groud strap, it seems like that would make the gap larger, negating the effect of #2 above.
