Default Tr6/Platinum plugs

I was only able to change out 4 of my plugs to TR6. The other 4 are Bosch platinums. Can I just run half the shot as I was planning to run?

Just kidding.. I'm just venting about how much of a bitch it is to change LT1 plugs.. GRrr..

Do yourself a favor and got to Sears. Pick you up a "Gear Rachet" Brand socket set. To this day thay have been the best tool that I have bought for my car. Made my LT-1 plugs much easier to get out and in.

I feel your pain, brother.

I can now change them in less than an hour. go to sears and and buy a 5/8 spark plug socket $4 ( has to a craftsman the drive goes all the way to the top) then remove the rubber plug and cut off about an inch with a chop saw, them things are hard steel. if you get the 1/2 drive you don't have to drill out the top but if you get the 3/8 drive you need to drill out the drive with a 1/2 drill bit. its the same tool SLP makes and sells for $30.

then get some 3/8 fuel line this helps to grab the plug when threading them back in by hand. place it over the porcelin part, about a 2 inch piece.

the driver side is the easiest as you know. but when you get the the pass side drop the starter and go from the bottom for the last two plugs, saves wear and tear on your hands and nerves.

hope this helps.
