No information or questions about nitrous, I've just been on the fence about it and decided to do it. So now I'm really excited and can't stop thinking about it. I'm going with the TNT F-1 kit.

Wish my rearend luck.

Sweet, you should have a blast with it. The rear should hold for awhile if you leave N/A.

How long have you been using nitrous with your rear?

I've been using nitrous for almost 3 years now with no problems from the rear. However, I just started launching the car real hard this past fall. As you said, it's just to tempting. It's feels good though.

I'm hoping if I keep my 60's in the 1.60 range I can get another season out of the rear with the addition of a girdle, stud kit, and welding the axle tubes.

Pff...every pass you saw was soft. I stopped being a ***** the last couple of days. Got a bunch of low 1.60s (which you know is good for me), best was a 1.60 flat. I think Marc saw that run.

I'm thinking of switching to a 15" wheel with the new M/T Drag radial. We'll try for a little wheelie this year with the 2.73 gears.

At the track it's usually a TNT 150 but I also played with a rich 200 (so rich the car would fall on it's face past the 1/8 mile or so). After the season ended I gave it a full 200rwhp shot on the street and that was a ride. This season I plan to give it a dry 50 out of the hole and the TNT 150 on top of that. Also adding a TSP 231/237 cam and pulling another 100+lbs out of the car.

I can't see that rear lasting to much longer. What are your times NA? Just trying to get an idea of what I will pick up with a 150 shot, hopefully over a half second. It all started when I hit 12.4, I thought mid 12's would be nice but all it did was throw fuel on the modding fire.

Are you going to use that cam with the 2.73's? I wouldn't think that would be enough gearing but then again I'm an idiot . I know wrong forum, so kill me.

That's a nice looking car.
BTW what kind of wheels are those?

I've never made an N/A pass so I can't answer that question. You are right about the mismatched gears & cam. Basicly, the car is going to be a dog cruising around town or from a low N/A roll. However, at the track I'm hoping that the nitrous will make for the lack of low end power (one of the reasons for the dry 50 shot out of the hole). I'm also restalling to 3,800rpm, I think that's about as much as I can go without blowing through it. We shall see.

The wheels are LGM World Challenge wheels. Unfortunatly they are not made anymore.

Oh I never get caught with my pants down. The bottle is always open, even on my 2 minute ride to work.

I would be the same way...BTW How long does this allow your stock internals to hold up with a 150 shot?

With a good tune the short block should last a good while with a 150 shot. On a H/C & 150 shot I would probrably replace the rod bolts since they are usually the first to go when you start asking alot of the stock bottom end. The compresion test on mine was fine this past fall and go through atleast 15lbs a week if not twice that. I'll probrably pull it next winter to freshen it up and stick it in my pickup.
