Default nitrous trouble help...

Alright guy's I need some help. I'm running a dry 100 shot, From N.O.S. on my otherwise stock 99SS. I have a window switch set at 3000rpm. when the nitrous kicks in at 3000rpm, It does not feel like I'm getting the full affect. Its inconsistant power. I get power veriation through out the pull. I also found that when I purge, It's inconsistant. If I hold the purge for a couple of seconds I get air, then nitrous, then air, then nitrous, then air, and so on.
Can someone point me in the right direction, as where to start looking. Thanx.

Hmm.
Dirty filter, if you even have one?

Improper bottle angle, siphon tube not in lowest edge of bottle?

Valve not fully open?

Bad electrical connection to the relay/solenoid/WOT or WS?

Low bottle pressure?

That about all I can think of. Good luck

Bloody Savages! I think all improper bottle fillers should be lynched! Thats why I get 50lb bottles, freeze the 10lb bottle and fill myself!

Yeah, I'm running a fps. I purge until I get a good nitrous flow out the nozzle.

I have filled and used this bottle twice. Both fills from (Team-C performance).
they might not be filling it right.

bad fill or bad bottle (leaking at the valve) which is almost un-noticable. Also a bad fill could go hand in hand with a bad bottle. On other thing, you may also have a leak at the purge point, check all connections with the lines to bottle.

It could be your fpss cutting in and out if you have not set the target cut off psi yet.

Just so yall know I dont think that it would necessarly be a bad fill.. Its not like your going to get some nitrous that just dosent run as good.. If you want to make sure you are getting your moneys worth outta the fill then the next time your bottles empty, go weigh it and when you get it filled weigh it again and if it was filled correctly then it will be 10 pounds heavier.. And most bottles have the unfilled weight on the lable unless it has just worn off.. I would be more concerned about your bottle position than a bad fill.. That is the most common mistake when mounting a bottle..

Well the fps shouldent be affecting the purge, but you definately dont want to ground the nitrous sol through the saftey switch.. Use the fps to break the ground on the relay..

I agree, I take my scale with me as I have been burned on refill and charged for full fill when it wasn't.
I had a purge noid sticking open and i noticed cause it wasn't hitting like normal.
