Default Dynotune bottle heater

Well, I have one and have some issues with it. I wrote to DynoTuneN2o, who has been very helpful in the past, but seems to have not been online a few days.

I can't get my bottle over 700'ish psi unless it's warm outside and the sun is shining. When we dyno'd the car it was only around 700psi and only made 367/401 on a 100 shot, which was still 62rwhp over the motor run, but not at all what I was expecting. I lost 20rwhp when I put my stall in, on motor.

Anyway, the heater gets really hot and all, but my gauge just won't budge. I've turned the screw and waited 10 minutes and still nothing. Am I turning the screw too much? Any help from guys with this heater would be great.

TIA.

Depending on the amount of nitrous in the bottle and outside temperature it may take well over 30 minutes to warm that thing up.
I'd try letting it sit for an hour with the warmer on and see where it's at.

Well, I'll turn it on in the mornings and drive to work, which is about a 15-20 min ride. When it's around 35-40 degrees outside the bottle simply never gets over 700psi at that temp. I don't know why, it's supposed to be around 900-1000psi according to the instructions.

Check your gauge. If the bottle is hot then the heater is doing its job. I've seen gauges read way off before.

I agree let it sit for on hour and see where the temp is at and let us know how it goes.

I just got it filled....it's only been used a handful of times on the street for quick spurts. Surely to God a 15lb bottle would last longer than that.

I would let it sit longer, but I hate to let my car just sit and idle for that long....I know the battery wouldn't hold a charge that long without the motor running. If it takes that long to heat it up, that's kinda pointless to even have one.

It's a brand new bottle...I'm thinking it's the gauge. The heater gets really hot, so I don't know how it could be the heater.
