Default Nitrous Problem

I have the NX 150 shot wet kit and am having a problem. I bought this car a few weeks ago w/ the nitrous already installed. It also has a window switch set at 3000 rpms. And also has a fuel pressure saftey switch. At this point I've not run the nitrous.

Filled up the bottle yesterday, installed it, opened it. Heard the nitrous surging through the lines until the lines where filled. Turned on the solenoid.

Hit the throttle at 3500 rpm. Very little difference in power. Maybe 50 horspower at the most. I took the jets out and they are 62/35 which should be the full 150 shot.

Where should I start? The ONLY thing I can come up with is that the fuel pressure is not adequate and the fuel pressure saftey switch is not allowing the nitrous to come on or only partialy coming on.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you're rich, maybe the n2o solenoid didn't work. Did you test the solenoids before you used the spray?

do a search to wire it up and eliminate the fpss. try that to eliminate that from the equasion of being the problem. if still no go test both noids (search for how-to).

oh- also maybe bottle pressure was reallllllly low?

bottle pressure would be the easiest thing to check for, but also make sure you have everything grounded good, because i had a problem before with my ground being too loose and sometimes my solenoids worked and sometimes they didnt.

It either works or it don't.
If you're low on power, then you're not getting enough N2O flowing.
Check for low pressure, or a blockage of some kind in the line.
