Stressed please tell me. AHHH
Ok im tired of hearing my friends and family tell me you should have mounted your nitrous bottle where people can see it if a cop see's it you'll get a ticket????
Next time you get your bottle filled, ask the people there, they should know the local nitrous oxide laws if they;re selling the stuff. Worst-case scenario, just hide the bottle like most of us do.

It can be a hassle even if you don't have any laws on the book. I got stopped for no front plate and 5 minutes later there where 4 cruisers on the scene. They where all standing outside one of the cars looking at through a handbook. The rookie cop spotted the bottle and called for help because he didn't think it was right for me to have it in the car. I got pissed after 15 minutes and explained the laws to all of them. Cop said they where ingnorant on the subject and I agreed with a big smile. I would highly reccomend you find the laws and read them. Give the state DOT/Highway Patrol a call, they are always nice to deal with here when it comes to explaining or defining a law.
I have a CDL licence and when I took the test years ago the handbook stated that it was illegal to carry a bottled product in any vechile that wasnt registered with DOT.Plus all registered vechiles had to be inspected to make sure the bottle/s were sercured/mounted properly. And it said something about displaying the contents on the outside of vechile[you know the signs on trucks non flamable, flamable, hazardous, explosive , and so on]. Im not the law so I dont really know if everything I stated is absolutely correct. This only what I remembered from years ago.
