Fuel pressure safety switch question

I was testing my fuel pressure safety switch today w/ and ohm meter.

I got continuity through the switch with the ignition OFF and also ON. I would have expected it to show continuity with the ignition on, but thought that with the ignition off, there should be no continuity through the fuel pressure safety switch.

What's the deal??

Try it with the car running. Fuel pressure must be there in order for the n2o to activate.

You probably have fuel pressure in your line. The FPSS is nothing more then a normally open switch that uses fuel pressure to close it that is all. Continuity has nothing to do with power on or off, it is just seeing if the two leads from your meter can find them selves that is all.
