I know it will be different depending on the area and the shop but I really don't have any idea what an install costs for a basic but decent setup for a 100-125 shot.

Wet or dry with heater & window switch and how much more for remote bottle opener?

Thanks!
Kevin

my install was free, did it myself with the help of a couple friends. I think the majority of the people around here probably did their own installs.

Does this mean you are not serious?? B/c I'll bring you 2 cases of beer and a pizza! The kit I will be buying is exactly that...a TNT F1. Let me know, I'd appreciate it!

It's more involved to change to cooler plugs than it is to put in a Nitrous system.

i'll put on the juice for ya wire it up too.
get an msd window switch and not the digital one.
make sure you have all the parts, like a new kit, and not some bought off a friend half a kit.
but hell i'll do it.
i work fri sat sun so all week i have off. probly get it done for ya in a day.
plugs are your problem however. i did that once, easier to pay someone else to do it.
but sure i'll do it. i want a list of what you want installed, as in tnt f1 kit msd window switch and....
and i'd advise getting a tune before doing any serious shots like over 100.
mail, IM, reply. be glad to help. I live in north east ct, near the casino. about a 1.45 2 hr drive for you i think.

Cool! Just curious, have you installed a lot of these? The kit is second hand but its brand new and I was assured its 100% complete. I'll still need to get a window switch though. I'll let you know when I get it which should be sometime next week. Do you mean you have off every week or just this coming week? I'll contact you when i get it. Thanks again I really appreciate the offer!

i like the old window switch, but you can get what ya like.
you do need a bottle heater, if ya want i can wire that up too.
you just asked for the kit install. so i figured kit, window switch.
yes i have every week off. i only work part time friday sat and sun nights. 6-2. i work at the casino, make great money but man people ar eanoying, watching them have fun on a normal weekend while your at work. pays the bills.

I would reather reinstall my full nitrous system with auto bottle heater, than have to redo my spark plugs. Next time shouldnt be as bad though, i left out the rear bolt on the coil pack bracket.

Ok cool. Ok so I am also getting an MSD window switch and bottle heater.
What about this though:
15531 Nitrous Express electric bottle pressure gauge $249.99
Is that neccesary?
This stuff is second hand but new, I'd said I'd take it without the electric bottle pressure guage b/c I didn' think I'd need it but I don't really know...

It's recommended, so you can monitor your bottle pressure. You don't want to run it too high (lean) or too low (rich, no power). That's a steep price though. You might try ebay or look for used one off one of the message boards. Or, you can get the nitrous express genx upgrade for around $300 or the genx2 for around $370.

Oh ok. That is the list price when new not what I would buy it for....its off a member here new but second hand.

Whats exactly are the genx upgrades? Fancy bottle pressure monitors?

I am just trying to do it right, I don't need to get the best of the best or anything, I just want to makes ure its a very SAFE setup. N20 makes me a little nervous as it is. I try and take very good care of my cars and honestly don't beat on them much. I just want big power on top for the rare occasions if you know what I mean....and again, i just want to make sure its a safe setup.

Thanks,
Kevin

Lol @ fancy pressure monitors.

NX Gen-X Upgrade Package: Includes Bottle Heater, Pressure Guage, Fuel Safety Switch, Blow-Down Fitting & Tube

NX Gen-X2 is all of the above except it has the purge kit with it also.

You can check out one of vendors (speed inc, texas speed, etc) for more info. >>>>>

lol, woops.

Ok so they are basically like an all-in-one kit of all the safety add-ons/accesories that you would add to all the base N20 kits minus a window switch. So I could just get a window switch and one of these kits and have a full safe setup than correct? That seems pretty cheap for all that stuff. Whats the quality like?

Yes, it's basically all of the safety features you will need, except for the purge. Just make sure someone hooks it up right and you shouldn't have any problems. I got everything including the remote bottle opener from a guy off a local mustang board for $600, except for the window switch. Make sure you get the on and off pills for your window switch. Unfortunately, the ones you will need don't come with the switch.
