T.N.T all the way. i have t.n.t and my bud has nx on the same dyno same 100hp jets we laid down close to the same power(i was 4hp more)but i put down more tq then he did. 487.5 to his 445.7(stang dyno) when all said and done motor on motor i make more power, but when the math was done i put down 24ish more tq kit for kit then he did. also, the same guy hooked up both our kits and he said the t.n.t kit was easier to install then the nx.

Not trying to disrespect anyone's product, TNT and NX both make nice products and both are used by a lot of people. I don't really feel that the comparison made in the above quote is valid since the systems are on two different vehicles, and numbers can change from pull to pull.

Also, Nitro Dave brought up a good point about the dual nozzle NX system. It would probably be more of an apples to apples comparison to the F1 as far as what is actually in the systems (ie: parts). I know it doesn't come with the blow down tube and the blow off cap, but you could add both of those parts and still be very close in price and have the capability of 300rwhp if a person wanted to spray that much.

Just my 1/2 cent (taxes got the 1 1/2)

Please don't compare the units by HP.
HP is just a jet change away.

True, but you also shouldn't use TQ numbers to comparisions.
Both are good kits, pick your poison.

I would think that about the only way to get a true comparison between any systems would be to have a car on the dyno and test all the systems on the same car with the same conditions (ie: engine temp, ambient temp, pull process, etc.). Even then, the jetting would be off since everyone's jetting differs. Meaning that our 100hp jetting is different from other's 100hp jetting.
I guess it really just boils down to what each individual wants, so like Ed says, pick your poison.....and enjoy the hell out of it.

Easy killer.....I was under the impression this was a forum that was open to discuss topics. Didn't think anyone was arguing, just merely exchanging info on nitrous related topics. Discussions and comparisons will continue to be brought up as long as there's more than one company in this industry. So in the mean time I am going with the old saying..." Pill it 'till you kill it", then rebuild it and do it all over again.

That's why I like this site, the best for n2o discussions, very diplomatic. Whereas, some of the other sites, you mention the wrong brand kit, and you get it stuffed down your throat. Here, people offer up opinions, facts and experiances, and the combined knowledge usually gets the answers out, for all to benifit.

Well put Robert, exactly what I was thinking.

I think both kits are good. I have not had the experience with the TNT kit but I have seen great results. Enjoy!

I have had 2 TNT kits. I had one on my old Mustang and one on my current car ('01 Camaro SS) and I have seen the NX kits on both. I personally like the TNT kit better because for one it looks way better under the hood, i.e. bigger solenoids, power ring, and the nice cnc bracket that the solenoids mount on. And for the biggest reason, it hits harder than any other kit! My freind had an NX 100 shot on his Stang and my TNT 100 shot put down about 30 more hp and about 80 more ft lbs. Same with the SS, a guy here in town is running the NX MAF kit and with the same shot (100) he can't come close to me.

TNT>all other n2o kits

Let's not get back on the comparing hp/tq numbers again....every company's jetting is different for the same hp level, so comparing the systems by that is probably the most inaccurate way of doing so.

I agree, you can jet any kit the same as a compared kit.
NXRicky, nice bike. Just had to show you a pic of mine. I have a n2o wet kit, not NX, TNT or NOS, but a combo kit. Doing n2o on yours?

Robert NOT my bike. It belongs to Jeremy. No room for a big bottle, or a turbo.

I didn't have to do anything to get mine to fit, I have a SLP lid with smooth bellows and it was all a peice of cake. Now that I'm switching to a 90mm set up that may change.

Thanks Robert, your's is looking good too. You building it from the gound up? I plan on starting the build on another one hopefully this coming winter, would like to do a rigid. And yes, I will be putting nitrous on it soon. I think two polished bottles hanging on the downtubes would look nice.

Yea, ground up. My bottle is mounted on lower frame on left side under lic plate, not polished, yet. It's a hard tail, but ruptured two disc at work, so future riding is? Trying for the low 12's or high 11's. NX have any plans to do a Bike n2o kit, as there is a market? Have fun with your new/current project. Sorry, got NXRicky mixed up with you, but all NX guys look the same.
