Is there anyone out there killing 03-04 Cobra's with mods using NOS? If you are, let me know what recipe your running... Thinking about spraying!!!!!!!! God I hate Cobra's!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

regular bolt-ons, f14, and nx wet 100shot. Trannys down right now but as soon as its gets outta the shop on Friday ill let ya know since i gotta street race lined up w/ a sonic blue 03 thats pullied, etc etc making 440rwhp i was told. Im sure i wont get him n/a but i think i can get em on the bottle. We're both gonna use MT DRs

are you running a stock bottom end?

 

Ouch major hate on the cobras, they are good cars just not an ls1.

A stock 03 is cable of high 12's then if you put one with a pulley etc then I'd say low 12's high 11's with a capable driver.

Get the spray and you should be pretty neck and neck with a modded cobra.

 

for the love of god its not NOS!!!!!! (unless you are using Nitrous Oxide Systems). Call it nitrous, go-juice, giggly-juice, on the hose, hosing it down, on the bottle, spray...all of those are fine.

And you don't need nitrous to be an 03/04 Cobra (if its stock). If its stock its only really running 3-5 tenths faster than fbodys. Crap on the street if you catch traction and he doesnt that could end up with you winning. Basically bolt ons should take care of all your stock 03/04 Cobra needs.

 

I agree with him on the NOS thing.. call it anything but that. And yeah boltons should have you neck and neck with semi modded 03s/04s

 

It also helps if you know what to look for sometimes upper pullies are stock and lowers are not.

 

I was spankin an 03 with chip & exhaust over and over at the track a few weeks ago. He had drag radials as well and was cutting 1.8 60's. He would get me about 1-1.5 car lengths outta the hole and then I'd turn the spray on about 50-60ft out and come right back past him and put about 1-1.5 cars on him in the 1/8th. He was not a happy camper either! He just couldnt believe I was pullin him on the top end.

My mods are - Hooker LTs, ORY, Loudmouth, Lid, Ported TB, 100 shot.. Thats with a A4 with stock converter and 3.23s..

 

yes i have stock bottom end.
I dunno what this guy runs at the track but on a GTECH2 it ran a 12.21@121mph w/ 315/35 nitto DRs. Think i remember the 60ft being 2.02

 

we have one down here.swapped to a kenne bell and have it pullied running mt drag radials.he runs mid 11s.tried to run him with my 35th but I think he trys to avoid it.he caught me off guard last fri. with my m6 z28 and my bottle was empty.

 

A mod'd 03 caught me with my fat and skinnies on. The 03 is the carmera car. Here the VIDEO

 

03's are overrated in my opinion but thats just me.

Spanked several 03 Cobras. Some 03 Cobras are tired of getting spanked, so they're spraying also, so watch out.

I hate 'em too. I could've got one at TRUE factory invoice, but NO THANKS. I look on the bright side however, it motivated me to pick up an NX kit

 

I hope you kick that fords ***! I think its so funny how the Mustang has to come out with a supercharged car to even compare to the F/Y body's. Throw a supercharger on an LS1 with just a few pounds of boost (or any power adder) and its game over for Ford!

 

i beat cobras without the juice. i only got it incase i run into a new z06.
heads/cam/ name a bolt on, i probly got it. now with new tnt f1 kit. dyno tuned, mothers aproved.
