Default Nothing is working right!

I have the TNT FI kit...MSD window switch, NX purge, NX bottle warmer, NX in dash switches.

After hooking up most of the system, the person that did the install had to leave, so we were doing the "testing". 1st. as soon as we opened the bottle just a little bit, I could hear nitrous was coming out of the purge nozzel. I closed the bottle and nitrous was still coming out so I hit the purge switch and cleaned out the line. Any ideas why nitrous would come out of the nozzel without hitting the purge switch?

The bottle warmer isn't working either.

You might have gotten a bad purge solenoid. Is it brand new? If so, im sure you can return it for a new one.

Yes it is brand new. Your saying it might have a leak in it? It also started leaking around the connectors too, at the "t". Locktite will fix that?

Is it leaking at the connection or through the solenoid. Did you use Teflon paste on the connection?

on the solenoid, you may have it clogged with a bit of dirt in there!

thats what happen to my nitrous solenoid and i took it apart and cleaned it.

Yes you have to use the PASTE, not the TAPE on the fittings!

Teflon Tape is the worst thing you can use on a nitrous install. It only takes a small peice of that tape to clog a jet or stick a solenoid.Teflon paste will work but is messy. We use loc-tite.It works great and neat to.

As far as the purge solenoid. If it was leaking at first and stoped after you purged it,it probley had a spec of dirt in it.

We have it gong now. It must have been a peice of dirt in the solenoid because after tapping it a couple of times it cleared up and is now working fine.

The bottle heater was wired wrong and is now working, but, it will turn off at 900 pounds of pressure. It is the NX heater and is suppose to stay on until 1050 pounds. Does anyone know how to make it stay on long enough?

Mine keeps it between 900 and 950. I thought it was supposed to go to 1050 as well but I figured I would be more consistant this way.

My NX heater keeps bottle pressure right at 1050 . Is your bottle full?
