The car does see the strip. Although Dan is just getting a feel for driving it at the strip. It is a 6 speed so that will not help. There is no way in hell he could hope to get this thing down the 1320 with that power....it would be too much of a handful. What will likely happen is we will jet down to around the 650 rwhp mark and race it at the track until he gets the feel for it and then start increasing the HP level. he has a 9 inch with a full spool, and complete suspension.

He has mentioned going to a TH400...but thats probably off in the future.
And this car can be seen street racing on several infamous "internet videos". Far from a dyno queen . Look for some more soon.

It will not run 9.30s as it sits. It would need to lose weight and get some chassis/suspension tweaking. Although it would trap fairly high im sure and still run in the 9s with some decent driving.

My car on the other hand ran 10.0 at 138 on 600 rwhp. I have made huge improvements to the chassis and suspension, gone to 28 inch tires, lightened up about 200 lbs, etc etc. It is more a track car. I expect to make a bit more power and expect to do it through a wider rpm range, but all based on what we have done with Dans car. I am thinking approx 10.0 on motor alone and then spraying about the same 400 shot that Dan is using. Who knows how that will end up. But I do plan to give it a shot with the T56 at some very high HP levels before the TH400 goes in.

Regardless of what Dan does with this car...wether he street races it, track races it, roll races it, he has 869 rwhp. That kind of power doesnt happen by accident. I am excited to just see that power be made with nitrous using some "control". Its useful info to know IMO. If we were all satisfied with 600 rwhp...that wouldnt be very exciting now would it.

Now SDB....since you are more of a track guy...why dont you build yourself an 860+ rwhp LS1 and go race it. Piece of cake right?

I was kidding! I know this isn't going to be a dyno queen, hence my post. It was to rub it in the FI. guys' face (always posting about numbers). I know this car has the power to run 9.3, if it had an auto. A 6 speed car with that huge shot must be insane on the track or street. What kind of roll do you go from on teh street???

I do street race all the time, and won't be above 650 rwhp for a while. I have beaten some 750 rwhp 6 speed cars on the street though!

lol...ok...I guess it went over my head a bit. I was going to say...lol. This car is no dyno queen for sure. Its not a track rat car either though. More of a STREET/strip car.

Mine will be more of a STRIP/street car.

How does the car hook on a kick at 50 mph or so....does the progressive controller help that much? I am thinking of going progressive, but my car handles a 200 shot on the street pretty easily.

The fuel cell is a bit over 1 gallon. Even with spraying a 250-300 shot out of that tank the fuel barely moves. Just have to top it off every few runs. Its really a convienent setup. Dont forget...he is spraying about a 400+ shot...but only half comes from the stand alone tank.

SDB i havent ridden in the car yet.

each stage is roughly a 200 shot ACTUAL. Jetting is like 200 and 300.

How long it lasts will depend on how many times he sprays it and at what HP level. If he sprayed it like once a month it would last a looong time. If he sprayed 15 lbs every weekend...not so long

The key is to keep detonation out of there so that when it is time to pull the motor its due to worn out bearings and not a snapped rod.
