[Nitrous Newbie] Why can't I see the nitrous when I purge?
Ok......total nitrous newbie stupid question. Just got my NOS 5177 system with NOS purge kit installed......and it works great! I've only got the 75 shot jets in since I'm still on TR55's and 26# injectors......but changing to TR6's, 28#ers, and the 125 shot jets is next. It doesn't hit as hard as I had hoped......but it does indeed work, no doubt about it..........and after a quick little run I gotta think this thing is capable of low 12 's now............
But now for the stupid purge question.......I can't see anything when I purge. I was hoping for a little bling bling factor to scare off the little local rice boys......but there's nothing to be seen! Heard of course.....but not seen.
Is this just a factor of the Socal Inland Empire heat???? Climate is dry (low humidity) and warm-hot......easily 90+ during the day and I haven't tried it in the evening at a temp below 70........I guess I could get up an try it a 3:00 am.......but I'd rather just ask here.......
I can see a little coming out of the nozzle itself......and sometimes a slight cloud a foot or two high.......but no big bursts like I've seen in videos. Is this a factor of my climate or do I have a potential problem????

Those big clouds come from HUMID days..
Also, big solenoids and big lines from the purge help get a bigger cloud.
Here is mine, just cuase I like seeing it!!
Thats using a NOS cheater (small) and standard brake line...HUMIDITY makes big purges.

So.....back to the original question....and that reply leads me to believe I'm cool as far as normal operation is concerned (considering my climate).........correct??????
