Default NOS's New LS1 Plate System

Just like it says. NOS has two new plate systems coming out and I got to test one. I have a friend that works for NOS and he got me a prototype plate to test on my car. I think the numbers speak for itself but man this thing hits hard. No spray bars and it will support 250HP. He hasn't told me a release date yet or an exact price but I suspect it will be comparable to other kits out there. They are available in four bolt 90MM and three bolt stock bore which is what I have. I'll get the dyno graphs up tomorrow but here are the peak numbers and a few pics of the set up. I haven't finished the install so excuse the wiring. I used the small solenoids since I don't plan to go over 150HP also. I think the kit comes with the larger solenoids but don't hold me to that.

NA baseline 358HP/350ish Torque (can't remember the exact tq #)
NOS 150HP jet 511HP/597 Torque

Also my car is a cam only 6-speed. Stock ls1 intake, stock pulley. The only mods besides the cam are Hooker LT's and y and SLP Loudmouth exhaust with no cutout.

Enjoy

Nice, it looks as it will be a very clean looking install. Another option for the LS1 crowd. Numbers are not bad either.

I know TJ as well. Hell I know several of guys really well.. But TJ was not the one that I am talking about. But TJ did call shortly after we finished dynoing the car. Oh and the dynoing was done at Horsepower House here in Bowling Green, KY..

cool, TJ is about the only one I know pretty well. Seeing how I'm in Ohio lol. Yeah TJ musta called me right after you.

I guess i'm going to have a local shop do my dynoing, and a tune since I've taken off all my emissions

congrats!

Well if you wanted we (Horsepower House) could take care of the dyno tuning for ya but that is a long drive. Good luck with it.

TJ came by not long after you left....
And it would be worth the drive to come let us tune it.

Sounds like an excellent ideal to me...you bring your car, we'll install the headers, and the NOS plate system for a price...and then dynotune it for free.

well crap lol

well i almost have the headers installed myself.

What if i let you plumb the NOS plate? Since you live in BG, maybe your shops will get them before everybody else. I don't know if they are made in house or not? Sounds fair, you get me the plate and install it. and I'll let you dyno me for free

great! thanks bud!

That would be hard since the car doesnt stay parked very long and I have a special electric shock hooked up to the car so once the hood is popped the car becomes energized and sends 10000000000000000000000000000000000 Amps through the body of the person opening the hood. After sending that much current through the body you your intestines out.. Just a warning..

Thanks and it looks good. I have a Vette (01) and tryign to determine where to mount the lines. I bought Dave's Dual Nozzle, but will eb spraying 100 shot, so I might just use a single nozzle if it works better.

Thanks

Gary
