mrr23- are both of your cars auto? im not a big fan of switches and yadda yadda.. im just kinda worried about hitting the limiter w/ a stick.. ive never raced a stick car before, everything has been autos for me.

yes, both are autos. with manuals, it's great idea to have a rpm shutoff switch in case you miss a gear. i spray through the shifts on both of my cars also.

Think of nitrous as constant horsepower. In order to make the same hp at 2k rpms as 3k rpms, the added torque from nitrous is 50% greater (3k/2k). The lower the rpm you spray the more cylinder pressure (torque) the engine sees.

What is a safe rpm range to shut the nitrous off at? I have my rev limiter set to 6750 and think that rpm range might be too high......I'm not sure though. Thanks

about 100-200 before limiter is safe enough. or 100-200 before shift point.

My set-up (ls6=higher rpm stock) is cut-off for n2o 6400rpm, then shifting at 6500 and limiter 6800rpm. I break loose on my 2nd and 3rd shift without the n2o. Also if not shifting quick enough I'll still hit limiter, but no worry cause n2o is off.
