Are you guys/gals mounting inside the car or in the engine bay?

I mounted mine in the console. I can verify it is working properly each time I turn it on & I can make changes in the settings on the fly.

In the bottom where the groves are for placing CD's. You can see this in the picture. I had to "customize" it a little by removing some of the plastic for it to sit in there flat.

Mine is mounted on the driver's wheel well but I'm sending it back today because it stopped working. My NOS soleniods would activate at either WOT or a set RPM! death.

I placed mine right next to the air lid, where the end with the wire are pointing at the engine. It fits well with no problems from the hood. No pic yet. I like the center console idea too.
