now, if you really want to compare car to car, how much money do you have in yours? to be about .5-.6 quicker in the 1/4 mile than me?

my 00 formula is a completely stock motor from TB to cats, no headers. where did you read that about my 00 formula? wish i did have headers. then it would be in the 10s.the wife's car has headers.

nothing internal has been done to the 00 formula motor, period. no heads, no cam, no headers, no timing chain, no LS6 intake, no skinny tires up front, like yours. your car may get it done with half the n2o (really need to fix that in your sig), but you have twice the motor. i'm not knocking your accomplishment. but we both acheive the same results in different ways.

The time in my sig is with lid, tuned(myself), headers, stall, new posi, and 100 shot everything else was stock. The other stuff was recently added about two weeks ago. I have no time with the new set up. A friend helped me install everything on my car, the tuning also with no professionals help. Okay so I got headers you don't, you got true duals and you're spraying a 200 shot mine is 100 so complare apples to apples now.

Hay guys my stock car with just lid, cat-back and a 125 shot is fast to remember. You are suppose to be telling ME haw fast my car is.

 

i thought my ET slip showing an 11.7 was just that.

 

my last pass before my tranny went was 11.52 with a 1.95 @ 124



and i got a buddy with a 00 ss 6spd...headers, fipk, tnt100...1.7 60 11.68 @ 120

 

you just gotta love a stock converter. 1.9 60ft with 124 mph. my car was 1.96 with 121 mph. swapped to the yank3400 got 1.70 and 117 mph.

 

Ok I got a 1.75 60' with the stock converter and stock 3.23 gears with 315 nito DRs. So I WIN!

 

we'll have to see how my car runs with the vig3600...if im not happy with it, ill go back to the stock converter and 1.9's at 124

if it can get me into the 10's and keep my mph up, then ill keep it...

 

damn it 2 camaros6702 - i wish i could do that. best i did with the 3.23 and stock converter is 1.88.

the thing with going to the higher stall, will net you lower et. it's typical to lose mph with higher stall due to high rpms inefficiency. stock converters are very efficient because they have such low stall rpms (1100). but, because of the low stall, it makes the motor lug down. that's the trade off. lower 60ft and ET with less mph. just means you are getting to the other end quicker from the acceleration.

 

Thats cool.......heah just to let you know when I win that race, I like to drink Micholob Lager. LOL

Depends how far a part the lights are, a good 1/8-1/4 mile will do.

 

i meant red lighting at the track. i may not be quicker on the timeslip, but i'll beat you to the other end.
