What the hell.....
The new gauge is working great from CFN (looks diffrerent) I havent heard of NX or NOS gauges having that problem, but I dont care to try again to see what happens Dave
LoudMouth- In your case I would guess that one of two things happended. Either the guage got hot as I have explained above and the internal seal busted which will let pressure from the bottle out through the guage, or it the seal busted due to filling the bottle with the guage mounted on the bottle. Sometimes filling the bottle with the gauge on will break it as well.

Also, one more question, is it just the gauge that's blown out, or is it letting my nitrous leak out of the bottle (like is that the hissing i'm hearing)? Cuz it was full, didn't even use a drop and would like to use it, could always take my other gauge and put it in a manifold in line of the outlet to get a pressure read.

Yeah, and I figured i'd lose the nitrous when I took the gauge out, but i've got like a manifold that goes in line of the main line that has a gauge on it for my 10 lb bottle (has no gauge port in the neck) that I figured I could just throw on just to use what's left of the bottle (if anything's left by now).

That’s really not that fair of a statement Dave...Just doing a quick search on this forum I came up with a few threads containing other nitrous manufacturers pressure gauges blowing. Here there happens to be a few cases from one manufacturer, if everyone that bought a cold fusion kit posts that their pressure gauge ruptured then I’d say there is definitely a problem with the quality control. Looks to me like its a few isolated cases and just like every other Cold Fusion product we sell, we offer a lifetime warranty. Whether we sold the kit or they got it from another vendor, we honor this warranty.
Hypothetical question...if two people in the same post say that their "quality name brand" solenoids failed, does that automatically mean that the whole kit is junk? I think you’d agree that more than likely they’re isolated cases. I’ll leave it at that and allow you to draw your own conclusions Dave.
To the guys who have had problems with your gauges and haven’t been taken care of yet, please pm us and we’ll take care of the problem.
Thanks
Matt

Your right. However thinking back in all the years I have sold NX products I can only remember very few cases where I have had to warrenty NX gauges. As a matter of a fact I can count them on one hand.So my point was that with a better quality gauge the possibilty of failure is less likely.Sorry none of this was a plug towards any certain brand.
Here is a picture of a NX guage next to a cold fusion gauge.Unfortintly the pics do not show how heavy duty the NX gauge is compared to the cold fusion gauge. The NX gauge is a much better quality gauge and just by holding the two in your hand you can feel the difference
