Default timing tuner

how hard is it to install... how long will it take....

where does the actual box mount?

I will have a WOT switch and that will be it.... no window, no delay.....

i will be running a 150 DP the car sees alot of track and 300 miles a week... it will be street raced

the only thing i need it for is to pull timing.

will i need to change plugs? if so which ones?

thanks,

Tyler

i think by the looks of it you just unplug your crank sensor and connect the connecters
and pretty much mount it where ever you want?

Pretty easy to install, right around an hour. The wire harness for the crank position sensor isn't too long, you're kind of stuck mounting the unit on the passenger side, around by the battery. If you already have your nitrous kit installed you might have to do some "rewiring". Depends if your kit is being triggered off a ground or a 12v. When we sell them I ask what brand kit the TT is being installed on as we have wiring diagrams for most of them. Let me know if you guys have any other questions.

not too bad. you have to remove the starter to get to the crank sensor wire, i dont know why no one ever mentions this... not hard, just 2 bolts and move the starter out of the way. then route the wire up next to the pass side fender well making sure it wont touch the headers. use mucho zip ties... then there are just 2 wires to feed into the relay. pretty straight foward. follow instructions to setup the box.

your buying a timing tuner and not using the built in window switch and delay? why?? its easy as pie to setup.

I have mine mounted just behind the battery mounted to the body, I drilled two small holes to run self tapping screws through. Like someone else mentioned, the wiring harness isn't really long so the passenger side is pretty much the only option you have to be able to reach the unit easily. I think the install looks pretty clean on mine.

You would be an idiot NOT to use the rpm window switch in the timing tuner....set it for 3000 and 6000 to start (where ever your upper rpm shift is at, set it 200 rpm under that).

I think he's afraid of it being active before his big stall. Not to big a deal cause it's only going to work when he's at WOT anyway so no fear. It'll just kick on as soon as he's WOT cause he's over 3K anyway. He never explained himself so this is just a guess.

Generally you pull around 2 degrees for every 50 horsepower added via nitrous. There are a few variables, like engine combination and fuel grade to name a few. If you’re detonating you need to pull timing.
