Little Help Needed Ref. Console Switch Assembly
Hi, fellas. Well, my remote bottle opener still hasn't come in yet, but I've decided to proceed with the installation anyway. I'll run the wires for the opener so I can just hook it up when it does arrive.
In any case, I'm at the point now where I'm going to be running wires to the NX console switch assembly that I'll have mounted in the ashtray. I've cut away the plastic and the metal tab at the back of the ashtray area, but I now need a little advice.
How do I remove or release the bottom portion of the passenger side underdash so that I can reach up behind the ashtray area with some wires for the switch assembly? I see some round plastic screws/bolts? under the dash. Do they just get pried out? I don't want to break anything.
Thanks!

The passenger side toe panel under the dash prys out... it uses the stab connectors. Remove the passenger kick panel at the bottom of the footwell first if you haven't already... pull it out from the top.

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the "toe panel" term. Would you please explain its location? Thanks again!
