i was wonder how the ls1 holds up to nitrous and what is the best shot and kit to get. my friend has a 5.0 mustang and shoots a 150shot with no problems and has done it for a while but those engines have the forged bottom ends and shyt although my other friend shot a 150 shot on his lt1 and it blew it up....so what do u guys think.....i just want it to be a safe set-up and a safe shot

The LS1 stock bottom end can easly handle a 150 HP shot.I like to suggest upgrading the fuel pump for anything over a 100 shot. The key to having a safe and reliable nitrous system is using quality parts, using the available saftey accessories and following the factory set guid lines.I recommend using a Nitrous Express system. They are the most complete and best quality system on the market. With a warrenty to back it up.If I can do anything to help let me know. You may want to check out our August specials. There is some killer deals .
